Danish Puff


Grandma Schroeder

First Layer:

1 1/2 cup flour

3/4 cup oleo

3 Tbsp water

Second Layer:

1 1/2 cup water

3/4 cup oleo

1 1/2 cup flour

5 eggs

Almond flavoring

Mix the first layer like a pie crust and spread real thin on greased cookie sheet.

Then put water and oleo in pan to boiling remove from stove and add flour and stir until smooth. Then put in mixer bowl and add eggs, one at a time, and mix well each time. Stir in almond flavoring and spread on first mixture. Bake one hour at 350. When cooled, frost with powdered sugar frosting flavored with almond. Garnish with sliced almonds.
