Texas Sheet Cake

Angie Schaedel (Lincoln Friend)

Boil: 1 c water
1 stick butter or margarine
4 T cocoa
½ c oil

In mixer: 2 eggs
½ c buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla

Pour hot mixture over egg mixture slowly to not cook eggs. When mixed well add

2 c flour
2 c sugar
½ tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda

Bake @350* for 15-25 minutes or when set well and toothpick is clean. Frost immediately.

Frosting: boil ½ stick butter
2 T cocoa
3 T buttermilk
Then add 2 c powdered sugar
