CHOCOLATE CHIP ZUCCHINI MUFFINS

3/4 C sugar
3 T canola oil
2 eggs
1 C applesauce
2 C all-purpose flour
2 T unsweetened cocoa
1 1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 C finely shredded zucchini
1/2 C semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place sugar, oil, and eggs in a large bowl; beat with mixer at low speed until well blended. Stir in applesauce.
Combine flour with cocoa, soda, cinnamon, and salt; stir well with a whisk. Add flour mixture to sugar mixture, beating just until moist. Stir in the zucchini and chocolate chips. Spoon batter into muffin tins and bake for 20 minutes
