Pancakes and Syrup

We triple the pancake recipe and double the syrup to make sure we have a few leftover.

PANCAKES
1 1/4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 T. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 beaten egg
1 c. milk
2 T. oil

Sift dry ingredients. Combine egg, milk & oil & add to dry ingredients, stirring til moistened. Bake on hot greased griddle.
(We usually double this...)


MAPLE SYRUP
1 c. sugar
2 T. brown sugar
1/2 c. water

Bring to hard boil, then remove from heat.
Then add:

1/4 tsp. maple flavoring
1/4 tsp. vanilla
