Egg Rolls


Alicia Gauss

8 egg roll skins

1 recipe pork filling

Filling:

Cook together
1/2 lb ground pork

1 tsp grated ginger root

1 clove garlic

Then add

1/2 cup cabbage mix

1/2 cup water chestnuts

1/2 cup shredded carrots

1/4 cup chopped onion

Combine

2 Tbsp soy sauce

2 tsp cornstarch

1/2 tsp sugar

... add to skillet

Make egg rolls from there.

You can use leftover pork loin for the pork. I have never tried in with ground pork. egg rolls can be deep fried, or for a healthier version brosh with canola oil and bake in oven at 375 until crispy
