Schaum Torte


Grandma Stueber

10-12 egg whites

Beat until stiff.

Add 2 cups sugar gradually and beat for 15 minutes.

Add 1 Tbsp. vinegar, 1 tsp. vanilla and a dash of salt.

Beat another 15 minutes.

Have oven pre-heated to 500 (475 in Grandma Stueber’s oven).

Place in 9x13 pan and put in oven. Then turn oven off. Don’t remove until oven is cool.

Serve with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
